Bertie Carvel, Matilda The Musical

BERTIE CARVEL is proud to be making his Broadway debut. Elsewhere, his work in theatre includes the original production of Matilda in Stratfordupon- Avon and  London (Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical); Damned By Despair, The Man of Mode, The Life of Galileo and Coram Boy at the National Theatre; Doctor Dee (Manchester International Festival); Rope (Almeida); The Pride (Royal Court) and Parade (Donmar Warehouse, Olivier Award nomination). TV includes “Restless,” “Hidden,” “The Crimson Petal and the White,” “Just William,” “Sherlock,” “Doctor Who” and “Hawking.” Films include Les Misérables. He trained at RADA.


Carrie Coon, Edward Albee's Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

CARRIE COON made her Broadway debut in Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Regional theater credits include:  Three Sisters, The March (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Arena Stage); The Girl in the Yellow Dress (Next Theatre Company); The Real Thing (Writers’ Theatre); Magnolia (Goodman Theatre); Bronte (Remy Bumppo Theatre Company), Reasons to Be Pretty, Blackbird (Renaissance Theaterworks); The Diary of Anne Frank, Anna Christie, Our Town (Madison Repertory Theatre); and four seasons with the American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Television and film credits include The Playboy Club, Law & Order: SVU, Ironside, and various commercials. A native of Copley, Ohio, she received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Shalita Grant, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike

SHALITA GRANT is currently making her Broadway debut playing Cassandra in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike for which she earned a Tony Award nomination for Featured Actress in a Play. Off- broadway includes originating V&S&M&S at Lincoln Center; The Philanderer ( Pearl Theatre); Measure for Measure, The Winters Tale and Merchant of Venice ( The Public). Regional theatre at The McCarter and Huntington Theaters among others. Film and Television work includes The Good Wife, Empire Corner, Invisible, Rehearsing A Dream ( academy award nomination for best docu). She is a graduate of the Julliard School and affiliated with NFAA Arts.


Tom Hanks, Lucky Guy

TOM HANKS his professional stage debut portraying Grumio in The Taming of the Shrew at the Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival in Cleveland, OH, where he performed for three seasons. After moving to New York City in 1978, he performed with the Riverside Shakespeare Company then made his film debut in He Knows You’re Alone and his TV debut in “Bosom Buddies.”  He went on to star in films such as Splash, Nothing in Common, Punchline, Big, A League of Their Own, Sleepless in Seattle, Philadelphia (Academy Award), Forrest Gump (Academy Award), That Thing You Do!  (which he wrote and directed), Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, Cast Away, The Polar Express, Catch Me If You Can, The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Charlie Wilson's War, Larry Crowne (which he wrote and directed) and Cloud Atlas. He will next be seen in Captain Phillips and Saving Mr. Banks.  At Playtone he has helped produce multiple award-winning series "From the Earth to the Moon," "Band of Brothers," "John Adams," "The Pacific" and the film Game Change.


Valisia LeKae, Motown: The Musical

VALISIA LEKAE is nominated for 2013 Tony®, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for her performance as Diana Ross in Motown the Musical. A native of Memphis, Valisia has previously graced the New York stage in Book of Mormon, Threepenny Opera, 110 in the Shade, Ragtime, and Almost Heaven. Other stage: Sara in Ragtime (Jeff Award, BTAA Nomination), Caroline, or Change, Dreamgirls, Big River, Godspell, Little Shop (Kevin Kline Nomination), Camelot (PBS/Lincoln Center), All Shook Up, Mamma Mia! Rob McClure, Chaplin

ROB MCCLURE received 2013 Tony, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Nominations, for his performance as Charlie Chaplin in Chaplin The Musical on Broadway.  Prior to that he charmed audience and critics alike with another title role, leading the cast of Where's Charley? at Encores.  A two-time Barrymore Award winner, Rob was seen on Broadway as Princeton/Rod in the Tony Award winning musical Avenue Q  and in the 2002 revival of I'm Not Rappaport alongside Judd Hirsch and Ben Vereen. Other selected credits include Avenue Q (1st National Tour, Helen Hayes Nomination), Amadeus (Mozart, Walnut Street Theatre), and the The Game's Afoot (World Premiere by Ken Ludwig, Cleveland Playhouse), and Johnny Baseball (World Premiere at American Repertory Theater). Rob is honored to be a Theatre World Award recipient.

Keala Settle, Hands on a Hardbody

KEALA SETTLE most recently appeared on Broadway in HANDS ON A HARDBODY. Her performance as Norma Valverde garnered her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, a Drama Desk Award nomination, and an Outer Critics Circle nomination. She was also the recipient of a Theatre World Award for this performance. Other Broadway: PRISCILLA: QUEEN OF THE DESERT (Shirley). National Tours: SOUTH PACIFIC (Bloody Mary), HAIRSPRAY (Tracy Turnblad). Workshops: Sting’s THE LAST SHIP. Television: The Big C.


Yvonne Strahovski, Golden Boy

YVONNE STRAHOVSKI is best known for starring on NBC action-comedy Chuck as ‘Sarah Walker,’ the CIA’s top agent. STRAHOVSKI was the seasonal guest-star in season 7 of the award-winning serial-killer drama, Dexter, as Hannah McKay, a strong woman with a mysterious past. She received critical acclaim for the role, helped lead the series to its highest rated season to date, and will return for the show's eighth and final season. In December 2012, STRAHOVSKI made her Broadway debut in the Lincoln Center production of Golden Boy. Up next, she will co-star in the sci-fi thriller, I, Frankenstein, a modern take on the Mary Shelley novel. Born and raised in Sydney, STRAHOVSKI studied theater at the renowned Theatre Nepean.  An animal lover, STRAHOVSKI dedicates her time on behalf of animal rescue. STRAHOVSKI currently resides in LA.


Tom Sturridge, Orphans

TOM STURRIDGE (Philip) began his career in Vanity Fair alongside Reese Witherspoon, before going on to star in Being Julia with Annette Bening and Michael Gambon. Further leading roles ensued in Gregory J. Read’s feature Like Minds alongside Toni Collette and Richard Curtis’ The Boat That Rocked, with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Bill Nighy. Tom’s film credits also include Tinge Krishnan’s Junkhearts with Eddie Marsan and Romola Garai and Walter Salles’ On The Road with Kristen Stewart, Viggo Mortenson and Amy Adams in which he plays Carlo Marx, Kerouac’s alias for Allen Ginsberg. Forthcoming films include Effie opposite Dakota Fanning and Terrence Malick’s new feature, with Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender.  Tom made his theatre debut in Simon Stephen’s Punk Rock at the Lyric Hammersmith and Manchester Royal Exchange and subsequently received the Critics’ Circle Best Newcomer Award, along with Best Newcomer at the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards. He was also nominated for the Milton Schulman Award for Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards and London Newcomer of the Year at the Whatsonstage Awards. He has since played leading roles at London’s Royal Court Theatre, in Simon Stephens’ Wastwater and most recently in Polly Stenham’s No Quarter.
